Cold Air Intake Installation

205

Asked by David Jul 10, 2012 at 07:42 PM about the 2005 Ford Crown Victoria STD

Question type: Car Customization

So i'm putting in the CAI and everything is going great, and then I try to remove the MAF sensor. But Ford used this screw with
like a five star head. I have nothing that fits it. None of my allen keys work, i don't have a screw driver that will work and the
head of the screws are round so i couldn't use a vice grip, channel lock, or pliers to get them off. I'm just not sure what to do.
Was anyone successful in using something other than the appropriate to to get the screws off or should i just buy a new MAF
sensor?
