Heat in my 2006 Ford Escape won't blow out on any setting what's wrong?!

Asked by Lewislady723 Jan 21, 2015 at 11:53 PM about the 2006 Ford Escape XLT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I try to turn my heat on and a very small amount of heat comes out but the blower is NOT
working on any setting. What is the problem, is it the blower or the actuator, or the
resistator.? I have watched different channels on YouTube so I want to get someone
else's opinion.

I had a similar problem in my 2008 but did have air blowing at one of the speeds. I changed the resistor and all is good now. Second time since I own the car. Easy fix. Mine was behind the glove box. Bought resistor online for $27.00
