radiator fan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A blade broke on my radiator fan. When replacing it, does the a/c fan also have to be replaced? Are they one unit or can I just replace the radiator fan?

If you go aftermarket you should be able to swap a fan and or fan motor and or the whole thing. If the other fan is working I wouldn’t think you need to replace it. Also look at the fan control if it doesn’t work after replacement. Be sure new fan motor is correct for the car. Kind of common actually imo. Good luck
