I have a 2006 Ford escape

Asked by Amanda Nov 24, 2015 at 05:12 PM about the 2006 Ford Escape XLT Sport AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My oil light came on and then the check
engine and then it started making a funny
noise. I noticed I didn't have any water so
put the water in and then it started. I had a
appointment the next day with Kwik Kar
lube for an oil change but it wouldn't start.
So I was just told it is my battery because of
the clicking noise. Please give a lady some
answers.

Maybe your battery is dying but I would be concerned about the oil light. If you run it out of oil your engine will be ruined. I recommend checking your oil level once a week.

I would charge the battery and check the alternator.. if the battery is dead it maybe due to the alternator not charging which would make ur dash lights come on and act funny
