show me how to change astarter on a 2003 ford expedition with a 4.6 liter i found to bolt but cant find the third one please give me a answer

i trying taking the starter down i found two bolt but can"t find the one on top and how will i get to it

After looking at a picture of your starter it appears that you have two bolts that come from the back and thread into or thru your bell housing and the one by the sylinoid comes thru the bell housing from the front and threads into your starter housing. Hope this helps

swivel deep 13mm and a 13 open wrench. top bolt has a nut with the ground cable so you have to slide the wrench in behind the nut on the stud so it doesn't turn then use the 13mm deep to pull the nut off while holding stud with wrench. lol really not bad after you see what Im saying. gl
