2003 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4 not engaging

I have a 2003 Ford Expedition and the 4x4 is not engaging
when I select 4h or 4l I have checked fuse 11, 20, and 115
and they are all good when I turn the selector switch I can
hear it click in the dash not a constant click but a short
click. Also the 4x4 indicators aren’t lighting up either when
I select the drive type. If someone know how to fix this
issue please inform me on it.
