My ford expidition runs rough and hesitates when accelerating

My truck hesitates to accelerate and acts like it's not
getting enough gas and idles/ runs rough change the fuel
filter brought it in for the fuel pump and the mechanic says
he thinks it might be electrical but doesn't know what and
no codes popping up any idea's so I can figure out what is
wrong
