Front Driver side seat belt issue

Asked by Eilahtan Jul 18, 2014 at 01:22 PM about the 2004 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my 2004 Ford Expedition Front driver side seat belt is loose. I used to tighten it while driving and it makes me feel safe. I have a Ford Mechanic replaced and fix it but they said they dont make any of the model but they have newer model installed that would work the same. But it acts the same as my old one but "IF" i get into accident or sudden stop, that it should work. I am not comfortable driving on any IF's

Yes, If the Ford dealer will install it, he is guaranteeing the quality and reliability of it. It should be just as good as the old one. The Expo hasn't changed much on the body so I see no reason not to trust it.
