Key pad code

Call a Ford dealer and they may (or may not) give you the factory default code. Have the VIN of the car ready, they can pull it from their database. If they decline, you may have to go to the dealer with proof of ownership to get it, and may have to pay a fee. And that fee may be more than calling a locksmith to get you in your car. Then the default code is also stored in the PCM and can be fetched with a high-end OBDII scanner, then you can customize the code to whatever you choose, but the default code will always still work. But you gotta get in the car first for that
04 isn't that hard to slide a bar in the window. The code is on a card in your owners manual unless the last owner kept it.
If it is not in the owners manual kit, then you can look behind the fuse panel cover on the lower right passenger side, remove it and look in the opening at the metal box which has a bar code label on it. There is the 5 digit number that you are looking for

Put in the original code. Then press #2 twice to program your own code
