Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Unknown wire, I done a tuneup and found this wire laying
there unplugged. I searched and cant find what it goes to.
Can anyone help? It runs out of the firewall behind the
battery

That may not be a wire but a vacuum line. There is a vacuum tank behind the battery that looks like part of the battery box.

After looking at this better it is a vacuum line for sure it's about 3 ft in length just about reaches the alternator

I betcha it is the vacuum tank line. You will need to remove the battery to access the connection.

If that does not do it check the EGR valve vacuum connection.

It goes to the round thing just to the left of the pictured vacuum line. Pretty sure it is a heater water control valve vacuum line.
