Look under the right side of the dash on the kick panel, way up under there. You should see the code printed on a sticker. You might find it easier to read after dropping the glovebox all the way down. I found it easiest to just hold a camera with the flash on all the way up in there and taking a pic, rather than craning my neck.

I think I answered this for you last week. IF the code was not changed by the previous owner, it is on a card in your owners manual. Also on that card are the instructions for changing it to what ever code you may want. I just checked my card and if I read it right, it is a master code that will open it even if someone has changed the code. Mine is a 2004 and there is no sticker with this number on it anywhere on the kick panels

Sorry, but it is indeed printed to a box behind the kick panel under the dash. How to find keyless entry code on Ford Expedition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d75m7_8x_8Y

2016 Expedition is printed and clearly identified on a card inserted into the owners manual plastic cover

There's an easier way - just open the glove compartment and un-hinge it and you can see the number readily from above

Factory code on all expeditions I have owned is NOT removable...... you can add another but factory code will always work..........maybe the dealer can change factory code..... .? Maybe NOT!

For 2004 Expedition, the kick-panel location is listed in the Owner's Manual. Found mine there. An easy way (found on YouTube) to view the module is by opening and then unlatching the glove box (5 seconds) then shining a light to the right and forward (above the fuse panel). Look for a bold lettered 5-place number. May have to 'search' with the light - but found mine right-a-way. Start to finish: Less than 5 minutes including programming in personalized code.
