Dealers usually don't like to recommend non-factory stuff... your better off online or a performance shop.
You don't say how much hp you need. Is it for towing, draging, what? I would start with one of the chips available. Be careful to be sure it will work on your 04 as the computer is different on it and the newer ones. From there it is only as big as your wallet. Cam, heads, headers, you name it. It all cost money.
^^what he said. and depending on what your specific needs are, I would do some research online into what shop are around your area that specialize in first, what you want it for, and second Fords. They will be able to either point you in the right direction, or do the work for you. be really careful with custom shops though, for every 5 out there, 4 of them are garbage and only 1 will have good knowledgeable mechanics.

A dealer in this scenario is not needed, as well as useless. Unless, you have that new kid whose still into cars, a fix it shop, or local garage is the best choice. Increase your knowledge while shopping, by using the power of the net. There's chips, cold air intakes...etc,. the power is at your finger tips. I had a few mods done and I always go the "Fix it shop" route.
If you want a car with more power, fine. Trade your current vehicle in and replace it. Not recommended to retrofit a car, especially one that is 12 years old. What are you thinking?
