engage it shifts in ti gear but will not move when i stopped at a light or stop sign so i
had to play around shifting from drive to reverse after a few time it would kick into
reverse and the only way to go into drive and make it engage is the slam it in to drive
as soon as it started to move in reverse
and now it will not come out of park unless car if shut off also it feels like it shifts into gear but will not move i have all ready replace the trans range sensor and vss
that sounds worse than mine. Mine has 157000 miles, but is in sound condition, few dents and strong motor. When i got it, on December 30, 2017, unlike my last Taurus, a 2007 SE, this one shifts in tree, still gives me trouble, wont hit correct gear
im learming to shift it better, but it still misses Reverse occasionally. I think its either the linkage/cable, or needs a fluid/filter change, asap. And no, its not going back to work till im sure its repaired
thank u all for the info. Lots to dwell on. I should do a fluid change, but its raining all week. Well, I can take off as long as i want, thanks to Uber! !!!
