So I have a 2002 Ford Explorer that is
putting the light on my dash saying
that the door is ajar. All doors are
closed like normal. When I’m driving
the overhead done light will shine
with the dash light. Is this a common
problem with these suv’s? Any
recommendations on how to fix it?

Sounds like one of the door sensors is going bad or needs adjustment.
