2002 Ford explorer won't start sometimes acts like its getting no connection

seems as its not getting any connection at times when u
turn key over gouges don't move then other times they do
and something just clicks but won't start got someone to
jump me off two or three blocks away it died in middle of
the road what is it ?

Check and clean the connections at the battery. Sounds like you have a lose connection somewhere.
