IS THE FUEL RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR ON A 2002 4.0 FORD EXPLORER A
CYLINDER SHAPE AND LOCATED ON THE FRONT END OF THE RAIL ON
THE PASSENGER SIDE?

No, that's the fuel pressure regulator. The sensor is under the upper intake plenum that has to be removed to gain access to the sensor, the sensor is on the driver's side just slightly forward from center of the fuel rail, it is held on by two bolts and has an electrical connector on it. If you want, there is a video on replacing it on You Tube, use the search for year, make model and engine for fuel pressure sensor replacement. HTH
