charging a 2002 ford explorers dead battery

My Ford Explorer has been sitting for 3 months. I went to start it, obviously the battery is dead. I had a
buddy help me jump it, but the engine would not turn over. My neighborl is letting me use his battery
charger, 3 hours into it so far.. I also have a system that pushes alot of power.. Could it be i need a new
battery?

If it didn't start when jumped then you may have another issue. Keep it charged up for a few days and see if it goes flat after setting for a day or so. If it does then you should probably replace it.
