After replacing PCM in a 2002 ford explorer OD is flashing

Didn't have OD flashing till my PCM went bad. Dealer confirmed PCM was bad. I
replaced PCM with a refurbished PCM. OD is still flashing and now the idle is up to high
so shifting into drive sounds like it is going to tear up the transmission also won't shift
going up hill, no power. Is the problem in the PCM or transmission . Didn't have any
transmission problems befor the PCM went bad.

The OD was flashing on my 2003 a while back. Brought it to my tranny guy who replaced a forty buck electronic gizmo on the tranny in about ten minutes. Are you sure the PCM was bad in the first place? Put the old PCM back on and see if the idle smooths out. If it does, you know where the problem is.

try replacing the transmission wire harness. That's what we did with ours shifts good but decided to shut off while driving. we have power inside my 2003 ford explorer xlt 4.0 v6 but when you turn the key there is nothing. Any ideas on what could have caused this!!! PLEASE HELP!!!
