Alarm system stoping truck from catching fuel to pump.

Asked by Brandon Jul 20, 2016 at 06:57 AM about the 2002 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Our truck was examined and the guy told us we needed a
new alarm system because the one we have is stopping
fuel from getting to the fuel pump which stops from
starting. Question is do you guys know where we can find
an alarm system for our 2002 Ford Explorer in the
Houston Area or That Ships?

Do you know what part of the alarm system is in need of a part? The system is extremely complex and usually require electronic testing equipment to determine the fault. I suggest you bring the vehicle to a Ford Dealer for a diagnosis and estimate of repair. I doubt the entire system is in need of replacement.
