fuel filter removal
I removed the two front connections on the fuel flter quite easily. The problem is the connection comming from the tank. I have the two required to get it off, but I can't. The main problem in the filter is jammed back up and behind the cat converter. There is barely enough room for one hand to insert the tool much less hold the tool in place and pull on the fuel line to disconnect it. Had #%^'en Ford made the fuel line six inches longer it would drop down below the cat converter where two hands can be used. As it is now, when removing the filter and letting it hand it does not drop below the converter. Any suggestions? Can I cut the line behind the fitting and attach it back to the filter with a hose clamp? Does anyone make make a workaround part if the fitting cannnot be removed and the line cut? If they did they would make a million bucks. To put it plainly, the system sucks.
