what do I need to put in a serpentine belt?

It's pretty simple and straight forward. The only tool I use is a 1/2" ratchet or breaker bar to release the pressure put on the belt by the tension pulley. In the tensioner, you will see a square hole that a 1/2" drive will fit into. Release the tension and the belt will slip off the pulleys. Reverse procedure to re-install. Take note of the belt diagram. If you don't see one, make a drawing of the belt and how it wraps around the pulleys. Trust me... you won't remember.
