Oil in the water jacket

I bought this truck from the police
auction. It had a freeze plug out.
When I started it to find the leak, oil
came out after the water stopped.
Engine ran smoothly for the minute
or less I had it on. No water is
showing in the oil.

4.0 SOHC is a nightmare. Mine blew at 70K and I drove it like an old school teacher. If the vehicle is worth installing another engine, get the V8..
