I am selling a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport with 157,000 mileage. I can't afford to put the money into it after it was side swiped (needs passenger side suspension aseembly and assembly rack replaced plus has a scrape up side and dent...would I be better off selling to salvage for parts or as a fixer upper?

Salvage for parts. No body is gong to put hundreds of dollars into a 11 year old vehicle.
