my question what taken so long to answer the first question
Ok. Number one on any Ford product (except a 4 cylinder) is always in the right front. On your Transverse Mounted V6. the bank nearest the Firewall is Bank 1 and has Cylinders 1, 2 and 3 - #1 being nearest the Passenger's side of the vehicle. The Bank of cylinders nearest the Radiator is Bank #2, Cylinders #4, 5 and 6 with #4 being on the Passenger's side and number 6 on the driver's side. The Driver's side of the vehicle is the Left side (provided you are in a country with Left-hand steering - like the USA). Having explained all of that - what's wrong with your car? BTW - most of us on this forum are Professionals that repair and maintain vehicles for a living - we have lives too.
Got a check engine warning i n my 2005 montego priemere print out said #6 misfire. Replaced 4 5 &6 plus core packs.. Light still on another print out says #6misfire running ruff after 50mph
In order to pin down the cause of your performance issue, one would need to a proper diagnostic check of compression, wiring (computer to coils) and power balance. In this case, it would be more cost effective to have a peoper diagnosis
