Stall with no lights on a 2006 Ford 500 SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Ford 500 SE. I suspect I have a dead alternator, but would like some verification. We were needing to jump it frequently and replaced the battery. It worked fine for a few weeks then when my son was driving home at night it died completely. we were able to jump it and let the battery charge from the car that jumped it. we started driving and got a half a mile and it stalled and the lights went off. We jumped it again and drove another half mile before it died again. we were able to finally get it home. So, I suspect it's the alternator. Correct?
