Ford 500 steering wheel makes a whining noise when I turn.

My car makes a loud whining noise when I turn my
steering wheel. It doesn’t do it right away but after
a few miles and it’s so embarrassing. What can I
do? What would it be ?

This might be a long shot but I have a 2006 Ford five hundred, I’m trying to put a NRG quick release hub on but I’m not sure which one to order. I was wondering if there was a similar model of car that had the same steering wheel I could go off of. If anyone knows any Ford versions that used the same wheel please let me know
