Why is my cylinder misfiring?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I baught a 2002 Ford Focus with a supercharger. The person i baught it from melted the piston in cylinder two. I rebuilt that cylider back as good as new. When we got it back together the cylinder was still dead. I did a compression test, leak down test, changed the coil pack, spark plugs and spark plug wire. Everytrhing is functioning correctly and in specs of the other cylinders that are working. If im getting spark, fuel and compression to that cylinder, Why would it still miss fire?

Well,if its firing on all other cylinder,s but that one,you say you have spark and fuel, the only thing i can think of is check your #2 fuel injector, may be gas to the fuel rail, but not firing at the injector, check the injector may be bad, just my thought,s..Good luck with it

I changed out the fuel injector from another cylinder and the problem remains on the same one.
Then make sure you are getting fire to that injector, check wires, and ohm it,to check and make sure it,s getting fire.

I changed the wires, spark plugs and coil pack and it is getting spark.
I know you have checked this, that is why i say check your injector wire,s may be pinched not grounded?Check the fire to injector. You have checked every thing else>?

I checked the fuel line and it is fine. Could it have something to do with the valves and would the compression be in specs if so?
