I have a Ford Focus 2002..They told me the alternator was
running at .96.. So, I need to get my car to someone's house
to fix..Can I drive the car on a bad altenator?

If the battery is charged up it should start. If the alternator is not working and the battery is dead you will need a good battery. You could swap out batteries or use a charger to charge the one you have now. You then can drive it a short ways to get it fixed. Don't use your headlights or the radio, fan or anything else electrical if you can avoid it
