I have 2006 ford focus and it shuts off

you can be going down the road and its like the battery dies no gauges work the radio quits pull over and then it shuts off i have checked the alternator and it's putting out ......then it may go tow or three weeks and do it again ?

Double check all battery connections. Loose or dirty connections can cause this sort of issue.

they are in good condition just like a hour ago the car died on and i went back it started up and as i was coming home the lights quit and all the gauges .....but thank you for the help im just baffled

with mine it started with the radio cutting out randomly and the gauges flickering back and forth. I've taken it in and no one knows why it does it or how to fix it.

I have a 2013 Ford focus SE HATCHBACK that has the recalls on the transmission, I took it to the local dealer as we have begun experiencing the shudder and loss of power and the dealer just called stating it is the actuators which of course are not under the recall and said it is going to cost $2,500 and that it may not fix the problems and may have to be brought back of the shudder isn't fixed.
