2002 Taurus disconnected battery to make repair, when reconnected has no power at all.

Double check all connections are tight. Also check your main fuses. Also just for giggles check battery voltage. Could be low or dead.

Have already done that, twice, both timed my meter read a strong 12.5 volts. This one really has me stumped

there is a main fuse in the fuse box under the hood might be a 80A or 100A check to see if this is blown might even me a 175A on the end of the box thank the volt meter and god throguh the fuses and see if they have voltage on both side of the fuse with the ground lead to the ground on the battery.
