Car won't go in gear.

My ford taurus won't go in no gear and I've
already changed the sensor ford the
transmission and there is no check engine
light. How do I find out what it would be ?!?

From what I've read it's the torque converter splines, they have wore out inside the converter buy a new torque converter and that should fix it and you could also buy a new pump shaft I ordered a converter it will be here Friday I will install Saturday after work and we shall see (my vehicle did the same thing with no signs signals or problems)

From what I have been told the Lever does nothing and fell apart when starting togo out. When the lever does nothing that should point to the connection on the trans axle where it the lever attatches to it. just logical path and should see that's alll it is
