If your vehicle is a sedan, the fuel pump shut-off switch is located on the right side of the trunk behind the trunk liner. If your vehicle is a wagon, the fuel pump shut-off switch is located behind the service panel on the right side of the cargo area.
Use the following procedure to reset the fuel pump shut-off switch. 1. Turn the ignition to the OFF position. 2. Check the fuel system for leaks. 3. If no fuel leak is apparent, reset the fuel pump shut-off switch by pushing down on the reset button. 4. Turn the ignition to the ON position. Pause for a few seconds and return the key to the OFF position. 5. Make a further check for leaks in the fuel system.

Passenger side of trunk right below trunk arm
Thanks car gurus - I have one of those car fix-it books. It had me pulling my hair out and there isn't much left of that. The book says the inertia switch is located on driver's side on 2000 and up taurus behind a B pillar???. It's on the right side just where you all said - not far from the trunk light but behind the trunk liner. Removing the liner isn't necessary to work the switch - there's a little notch made in the trunk liner and you can look right at it in plain view. I was searching the wrong side all of the time, duhhhhh. My thanks again. Mitch 12*02*18
