Type of oil

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does it matter what type of oil you use  in remote
or summer

Check your owners manual. It will have a chart with temperature ranges and oil weights. I think your car uses 5W-20 which would be good year round. If your car has high miles and uses oil try 5W-30 or even 10W-40.
