Power steering repair

I overfilled ps on my 05 taurus PS. When it got hot steering got heavy. Fluid
overflowing so I lowered it. Now pump is turning I can see fluid moving in
reservoir but no power assist.

The last guy is a idot.. but you also a idot. When you replace the pump there is air in the system that you have to bleed out… the pump is not designed to pump air
The other guy was right. I replaced the pump again. Works great. This Taurus doesn't need to be bled. Air comes out the filler when fluid goes in.
