I have a 2005 Ford Taurus..heat stopped working.. a day later a warning light came on saying check engine temperature..

There was no fluids in resoviour ..I put 3 big
bottles of fluid and it only filled it half way..
The next day there was no fluid..and when I
drive there is smoke or steam coming out
the resovour (not sure if spelling it right)
what's is wrong and how much do u think I
will be paying to fix this? Help...

Some people was saying it could be the hoses or a leak somewhere... I called the mechanic that does stuff on cooling systems I explained the same thing here and they said could be a leak somewhere..they never said anything about a head gasket
