I am trying to diagnose a 'noise' coming from the rear of the car ('04 T-Bird) that sounds like a loose shock or spring. However, the suspension seems fine. What do you think?

It sounds like something loose in the trunk when I'm driving.  I thought it might have been a loose shock or spring but the suspension seems to be okay.

Sometimes when the shocks are bad they will rattle inside and look fine. Also if this has a rear sway bar the end links are very bad about rattling and feel tight.
