where can I get replacement chrome trim around windshield 2004 thunderbird

This would more than likely be a dealer item,or check Ebay,or your local salvage yard.

It would be a very lucky break to find a wrecked bird in the junk yard. If you did, let everyone know. meantime the car is just over 10 years old and you may still be able to order it from your dealer.

If it proves impossible to locate a replacement trim piece, remove the original trim and rechrome it. Clean it up, srape/sand to remove any rust or pitting, and let the chrome shop do the rest. Im my case, I've done bumpers and trim cheaper than it would have been to buy hard-to-find replacements. Google "chrome plating" for your area to find shops (or pull out the phone book).

We have same issue this piece acts as a roll bar for convertibles the whole unit has to be replaced we are not pleased
