After replacing pads on the 2004 t-bird, we have a soft pedal,is there a solution?

Did you also bleed the brakes after you installed the pads? Make sure there is no air in the system.

You are going to need to take the brakes off again and make sure the pads are seated correctly if one of the pads is seated incorrectly piston can not push pad to rotor and this will cause a soft brake pedal.

There should not be any air in line if you used a brake spreader to push piston back into caliper.

Also clean and apply brake grease to caliper guide slides and make sure brake hardware is good .
