2004 T-Bird tansmission clunk with gear change

Car in good shape and otherwise runs well.  However, intermittently the transmission will shift gears  with rough and noisy clunk.  This happen on acceleration and also in reverse.

Check universal joints in driveshaft,or broken trans mount. It could be pump pressure,wich would need a rebuild.Check trans dipstick & smell oil for burnt smell,that would require a rebuild also.
