'07 Honda Civic, overheating.

I have an '07 Honda Civic with roughly 140k on it. About 3 weeks ago I was traveling
from Alabama to Tennessee. While on the freeway my car started overheating (the
temp gauge started creeping up, then it would fall back down, then shoot back up), I
had the heater running but it was only blowing cold air. The temp would rise quickly if I
ran the heater, as opposed to slowly creeping if I had the A/C off. My engine seized up.
Got it towed to a local mechanic. They said it was most likely the water pump (car
passed the block test, so he ruled out a head gasket issue). Replaced the water pump,
and I got back to TN with no issues.
Now it's starting to do the same thing again. Cold air coming out of the vents, temp
gauge gets to about 80% after 5-10min of driving. Engine sounds like it's struggling a
little bit.
Anyone have any ideas? I'll probably take it to a mechanic soon.

Does your oil have water in it

Did the shop you took the car to do a compression and cylinder leak down test? You could have a head gasket issue. To check to see if you have coolant in the oil you pull the dipstick out and look at the oil, if you see a cream colored sick instead of amber or black the thats a sign of a bad head gasket. I'd also check the radiator if you see cream color then your head gasket needs to be replaced. I'd also check the coolant temp sensor and thermostat. The thermostat could be starting to stick closed.
I'm not sure if they did a compression and cylinder leak down test. They said they "flushed out the system". They said that the water pump was the most likely culprit. They said it probably had a leak, and there was air getting into the system. They replaced it and my car was totally fine for 3 or so weeks. Now I'm getting the same symptoms that I did right before it broke down on me.
I'm currently having the same issues replace the thermostat flush the system my motor line turns on and off and then for a couple weeks my car will act right with no motor light and then it'll pop back on again

0n the 95 model year some time's ya have tah check the Conifulator but if thats not the issue have them check the muffler bearings because when those get bad they drag and make the engine work harder any ways hope this helps p.s. for those that don't know this is totaly a joke and i'm sorry for those of you who get butt hurt easly have a nice day
