whats the diffrence between an a6 avant and the allroad

mainly the suspension, allroad got adjustable height level by airsuspension, then the fenders on the side`s, mark possible waterdepth level that the car may pass through..the roof is special material and the rest is aluminium(some a6 might also be Al),. The quattro differential is something alike 50/50 on the allroad, while it`s moore front wheeldriven on the a6,yet adjust`s by demand.

There is a lot of discussion on the internet about frequently needing to repair the air suspension on allroads-a Very expensive repair. The torque convertor is another problem area on these vehicles.

Don't forget there are 2 turbos. If they wear out you need to pull the engine to replace to the tune of $2000-3000. Most air suspension can be replaced with quality aftermarket bags by arnott, but 200-250 per corner.
The cons are that they are old used Audi's.
