Man been working on this car for
weeks almost have running but
am frustrated and annoyed trying
use manual for vaccume evap
system ..no diagrams?
Question being where does evap
canistor go and what are all t
connecctors for/ go????
Its a mess need put back original
way was working with idiot

WHERE ALL LINES GO???
OH WHERE DOES PURGE VALVE
PLUG INTO OR DOES IT AND THE

MISSING VACCUME HOSE

CONNECTORS GOING TO IM

MOVING LINES AROUND DONT

Sounds like several people have been in there over the years messing things up. There should be a vacuum hose routing diagram under the hood as part of the emissions decal. If that's gone, visit your local Ford Dealer. They might be able to download and print the diagram from Mitchell On Demand, if they subscribe to that service. If you're restoring this vehicle, get a factory shop manual. This is way better than the generic manual you're using. The manual is specific to your vehicle. It will cost a little more but worth it in my opinion for a restoration project. Try ebay for a good used one or Faxon Auto Literature. Faxon has a website and good quality shop manuals, both original and reprints. I've bought from them before. Hope that helps! Jim
