Asked by mechell May 12, 2020 at 08:37 PM about the 2007 Toyota Prius FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 07 toyota prius I replace he 12vlt this last winter and my hybrid
battery two years ago. NO codes are popping up at all but about a week ago
while driving it feels like it is getting no power at all and my hybrid battery
goes right down and wont charge back up and stay charged. IF it is just
sitting while on its fine. BUt now i am losing all my gas milage and I am not
sure what is wrong with it.

Did you replace the hybrid battery with a New or Reconditioned battery? It sounds like the hybrid battery is a problem. If you have a quick loss of charge that is usually a sign of bad cells in the battery.

Its not the hybrid batter all the levels are good on it and the last time they hybrid battery went it pulled codes. No code is getting pulled at all its not dying when its on idle its only when I hit the gas. Its like there is no power going through even though both battieres are producing at the voltages they should
