Battery cables are bad. I had to replace the positive and negative cables on my 2009 escalade. Gmc will not help with replacement cost. Luckily I only had the escalade for a couple of days so the dealer replaced the cables. No issues now....it was shutting off on me and draining the battery over night.

I owned an Auto Body shop for 45 yrs.I saw something similar a customer had & they had given up,so they installed a battery disconnect switch,a year later it was found the trunk light was on & never went out !!!! i,m sure the same thing could also happen with a glove box light ! ,

I have a 2005 Escalade -radio would not turn off - had to disconnect battery when I parked. It was the driver's door lock actuator Had it repaired at Cadillac dealership - cost was $649.00..
