Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 93 Lebaron convertible. The top stopped working the other day. I
could hear the click at the rear relay, so I replaced the relay, but the top still
does not work. Today I genently knocked/hit the hydraulic pump and the top
started working, however I need to knock/hit the pump each time to get it
going. Any idea what may be causing this? Low hydrualic oil or do I need to
buy a new hydraulic pump motor for my convertible?

Thanks for the help! Do you know what is happening in the pump motor that causes this?
