I would pick up a Haynes manual, best way to see this done with numbered steps and pictures.

Useless answer - if the man had a manual he wouldn't be asking this question here. If I had a manual I wouldn't be looking here. This is the stupidest smart ass answer any one can give. Get a manual. Man that sort of answer pisses me off. Why don't you scan the numbered steps and pictures and do something useful instead of wasting peoples time ?.

the best way to remove door panels is VERY CAREFULLY . put the car in a warm place for a few hours . this will aid in the removal of the door clips without breaking the plastic supports . Start by removing any obvious screws and fasteners on the out side of the panel . Usually the arm rest has its own screws , but I'm not dead sure on your car . then remove the door latch handle from the inside . Next , very carefully you must pop out the retaining clips that secure the panel to the door itself . they are positioned all around the outer periphery of the door panel about every six inches or so . don't worry if you break a clip they are replaceable . What you DON"T want to break are the supports in the plastic door panel that support the clips , get the idea ? then lift up ^ on the panel to release it from the window channel and you should be good to get at the switch . OK . If you break any clips upon removal they can be replaced by the dealership . Be careful upon reassembly to align all the clip tips to the corresponding slots in the door before you smack them back into the door with the heel of your hand . Don't hammer them , if on reassembly ,one doesn't line up ,it's either broken over or out of line with the door slot . proceed slowly and carefully and all should be well . replace all removed fasteners in their respective locations and tighten snugly .... don't strip them out , some are delicate and require finnesse . this should get you done . I'm assuming you know how to replace the switch already , it's pretty straight forward . just be carefull not to break any of the delicate retaining clips that may be used to hold down the switch . carefully change the wires over from the old to the new swicth exactly as they came off . I would test the switch before putting the panel back on . and your done . Hope this helps , CHILTON manuals are the way to go ! good luck ---- PBN

if the switch is on the door handle and has the controls of all windoes,you dont have to remove door panel,the switch will pop out useing a flathead screwdriver.

You have to remove the switch first to remove the door panel. Pry the switch panel from the front to remove it. Unplug the electrical connector. The switches come out of the panel by freeing the clips.
