Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 2002 PT Cruiser. It will not crank over at
all. I have lights, radio, high & low beams. Just
replaced the starter, charged the battery just to
make sure. Cleaned all the contacts before putting
it back together. Any help would be great. I can
usually fix everything that goes wrong but I'm
losted on this one. To back track all the normal
dash lights come on but their is a new one I think a
little round red one on the left side near center of
the control panel.

No. I'm not good with electrical I was thinking could it be one of or both off the hot wires. One goes from the fues box to the battery & the second goes from the battery to the starter. I was reading that the PT has a problem with the wire breaking inside the cover around it.

I read in another forum that if the red light turns on, try locking and unlocking multiple times. It seems it worked for others.
