I own a 2004 PT Cruiser it will not start have a brand new battery only have sixty four thousand miles it's not the battery but the engine won't make a sound radio p wonder what the problem

When i turn the ignition on,  lights, radio, the horn blows but the engine will not turn or
make a sound. Has new battery.

poss. starter. Use a test light and see it you have power going to the wire gong to starter solenoid. Try rapping on starter body with a hammer while some holds key in start position.

Does the key engage fully, springing back to run position, after turning completely through "the motions" ? If not, (I found out) it's the ignition switch actuator......real cheap part at auto stores......twenty minute job after watching you tube videos. Oh....I also had to buy the ten dollar torx set, with the fancy little hole in the center of the spline from said auto store. Saved myself a total of one thousand one hundred and fifty dollars.......YEP....I SAID IT. $1,150.00 You might want to check THAT! Diagnostics and Repair Estimate from my local "reputable" Chrysler Dealer. All of 'em.....SWINDLERS!
