On my 2006 pt cruiser, 2.4 liter touring edition, the oil sensor is about 2 inches above the passenger side axle- transmission end.set back in a hole in the engine block. Like to never have found it. A deep well 1 1/16 socket, a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter, a 3 inch extension on the ratchet, over the axle. Have fun. Hope you have thin arms.
