If you just had all that work done, I would be taking it right back to the shop and let them handle it.
I did he said he have to go back through it and reset the timing :(
I honestly think if you timing was off, you never would have been able to drive it home when you picked it up the first time. If timing is off, they usually run very rough. Don't let them charge you any extra. That should have been running right when you took it home.
Hi if the timing was off on that engine just one tooth it would set a code (mil light on) seeing a difference between cam and the crank sensor .....and also that engine is a 0 clearance engine meaning that the pistons will hit the valves and ruin it ...if it starts up fine and has plenty of power cold I would think that it might be the new cam sensor they installed if its not a factory one I have seen a lot of after market ones go bad it could also be a bad crank sensor heating up as well ...if the timing belt is off this should not be any charge to you considering he was just in there and was the one that set the belt off in the first place
